Simba Sleep regularly sends out CRM communications- but these emails are incredibly product and sale focused. This doesn’t allow Simba to communicate its brand voice appropriately, as well making emails repetitive and dull.

To solve this, CRM looked at hand curating a newsletter in order to create higher clickthrough rates as well create loyalty and trust in our newsletter subscribers and grow a highly engaged list of subscribers.

With that in mind, The Thread is a monthly newsletter run in the UK & French markets that focuses on the lifestyle aspects of sleep.Content includes blog posts, partnerships, competitions or PR events as well UGC and an ‘Overheard at Simba’ section.

The task itself specifically required creating the layout and defining which modules were needed for content, as well adhering to best practice for email communication (using text, avoiding GIFs and keeping images both mobile and desktop friendly).
