speculative design

Protest Parties was born from a live design brief concerning Ramlet Al-Baida, the only public beach left in Lebanon. Ramlet Al-Baida is afflicted by multiple issues, including goverment corruption, rising property prices and pollution.

Protests so far have been ineffective at raising awareness, so we designed a system of protests based around the concept of making people talk by using unusual items. The Protest Parties site can be accessed above, or here.
